Islington’s Little Angel Theatre turns 60

Islington’s Little Angel Theatre is marking a milestone this month as it turns 60.

The venue, dedicated to children’s performance, was set up in 1961 by a group of puppeteers – transforming what was at the time a derelict hall.

To mark six decades in the business a special exhibition will be put on in the puppet workshop, next to the theatre. It will also mark the start of a new season of shows.

Little Angel Theatre turns 60 on the 24th November – you can find out more here.
