Southwark Playhouse’s second site launches in Elephant and Castle

A brand new theatre is opening this week in south London, it’s the Southwark Playhouse’s second site in the capital and can be found in Elephant & Castle.

Opening the venue this Friday is a play called The Walworth Farce, written by Irishman Enda Walsh in the mid 2000s.

it’s set a stone’s throw away from the new theatre, in Walworth, and comedian Dan Skinner stars who you might recognise from some of his other on-screen roles.

He’s been telling Paul more.

The Walworth Farce is on at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 17 February until 18 March.
