Grenfell Athletic FC design new kits etched with the communities hopes and dreams
Many of us will recall the tragedy of Grenfell Tower in which 72 people lost their lives as the residential building went up in flames.
But born out of the tragedy, is one inspirational story of resilience and enduring community spirit.
Grenfell Athletic FC is the brainchild of community support worker Rupert Taylor who lives nearby to the tower who founded the small but ever-growing football team. In recent days, Grenfell FC has received support from local businesses including advertising agency Brothers & Sisters who helped to produce a new advertising campaign who engaged with the team to design new ‘Dream Carrier’ football kit and uniforms.
We caught up with some of the people involved in the project to find out more about it.
