International Cricketer turn Hyperrealist Artist
Croydon born former international cricketer Michael Carberry is leaving his bat behind about to start a new journey, this time wielding a pencil instead. Not having an easy ride of it, the former Surrey opening batsman was struck with cancer at the peak of his career, forcing him on a long road to recovery. He reignited an old passion in drawing to help deal with his illness. Now retired he’s hoping his hyperrealist pencil drawings will knock his new audience for six.
