Magical Mince Pies – A Christmas Story
This time of year we often spend a lot of time in the kitchen, cooking up a storm or maybe just eating the leftovers, but it can often be a time that cooking brings the family together.
That is exactly the inspiration for a new book by baker and father Matthew Jones. Known for setting up the ‘Bread Ahead’ bakery school and kitchen he’s now released his first book Magical Mince Pies – A Christmas Story, using his own unique recipe and inspired by his time in the kitchen with his son.
Matthew and Magnus came into the studio with a few treats they’d baked to tell us more about the new book.
