The story of composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor told on stage in Croydon
To the story of one composer told on stage, who the creators believe deserves more recognition for what they achieved in their lifetime.
It’s called ‘Recognition’ and is inspired by a composer from the 1800s called Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.
His story and the way he inspired people is told on stage to the sound of his music played by a live orchestra.
Tanya spoke to Paul Adeyefa who plays the composer to find out more about the play showing on the Talawa Studios in Croydon until the 24th of June.
