Apprenticeship Week

Back in Febuary, ahead of National Apprenticeship week, we spent some time with plumbing trainees that are hoping to fill a gap in the capital which is said to be on the brink of a skills crisis. Some in the industry believe that not enough is being done to train up the next generation, with the average age of a plumber in London being 56. We spoke to the aspring plumbers and the CEO of the company that are trying to address these issues, he believes that ‘the youth are the way to really go forward’.
