Dr Helen Pankhurst on why the legal voting age should be lowered to 16
Dr Helen Pankhurst has teamed up with the British Youth Council as well as the skin care brand the Body Shop to campaign for a lowering of the voting age to those who are 16 years old, rather than 18.
Helen spoke alongside the Managing Director of the Body Shop, Maddie Smith, and both agree the move would enrich our democracy.
The last time a change was made to suffrage legislation was in 1969.
