The Red Roses head to Twickenham Stadium

For the first time ever, the Red Roses, England Women’s rugby team, will play in a standalone fixture at the home of Rugby at Twickenham Stadium.

The game has already sold the most ever tickets for a women’s rugby match with more than 50,000 sold – a sign that women’s rugby union is gaining in popularity.

Helena spoke to former Red Roses captain – and England’s most capped rugby player of all time – Sarah Hunter, who was joined by Emily Scarratt, record Red Roses point scorer, who told London Live about the pivotal match at Twickenham and helping to create a new generation of female rugby players and fans.
